This is fun!

For several years now, I’ve had an idea qui etly maturing in my mind. When I began seeing photos on social media of real cars that I happen to own as 1:18 scale models, it occurred to me to photograph my models in the very same compositions. Before I truly managed to bring that idea to life, AI entered the scene—a tool capable of elevating studio photographs several levels further and creating virtually any environment one can imagine.

I must admit, however, that working with AI is, to some extent, an exercise in patience. Even with clear instructions to preserve the original composition, it often interprets the scene in its own way and generates the cars from a different angle. The process therefore becomes not only creative, but also disciplined—requiring precision, repetition, and a keen eye for detail.

All the more breathtaking, then, are the results.

Over time, I have found myself at a kind of crossroads: on one hand, I place randomly chosen combinations of models into environments born purely from imagination; on the other, I deliberately recreate specific real-world references, striving to replicate the original compositions of the actual cars as faithfully as possible.

There is, however, one strict rule I always follow: the composition must remain exactly as the models were photographed. I allow only the slightest, almost imperceptible deviations.
