I originally wasn't going to get this version as the silver and light blue combination didn't appeal to me, but I do collect tv/movie models and this is from "Dallas". From what I read, the Patriarch of the Ewing family, Jock, liked the Mark V but when he went to buy a new 1980, he found he didn't like the downsized MkVI and bought all of the MkVs left on the dealer's lot.
