"PAZ" or Pavlovsk Bus is a Soviet and Russian manufacturer of small and medium-sized buses in Russia. Located in the city of Pavlovo, Nizhny Novgorod region. It is part of the GAZ Group, which owns 93.79% of the shares. Production of buses since 2005 is carried out by LLC PAZ - 100% daughter of PAO Pavlovskiy bus. This allows to minimize mandatory disclosure of information and reporting by Russian standards. The decision to create a factory in Pavlovo to provide the Gorky Automobile Plant and other automobile enterprises with a driver's tool and body armature was made in 1930. In 1932 the construction was completed, and production began. The plant at that time was called ZATI (plant of an autotractor tool). It was the last concession.
On April 24, 1952, by decree of the Government of the USSR, the plant of a motor transportation tool in Pavlovo-on-Oka was redesigned and renamed Pavlovsk Bus Plant (PAZ). Already on August 5, 1952, the first five buses of the first production model of the hood arrangement PAZ-651 (GAZ / GZA-651) on the chassis of the GAZ-51 mass truck emerged from the factory gate. In general Pavlovsky Bus Plant specializes in the development and production of small and medium-sized buses (length 7-9 m). Their annual output is more than 10 thousand units. The PAZ model range includes basic models of the small-class PAZ-3205 and PAZ-3204 families, the low-floor bus of the small class PAZ-3237, as well as special buses - PAZ-3206 with the 4x4 wheel formula, PAZ-32053-70 school, passenger-and-passenger PAZ 32053 -20 and other special cars.
