Jaguar Low Drag(1:18, Cult Scale Models)

This collectible piece from the Modelly member “mukuendig” is clearly based on the Jaguar E-Type Low Drag Coupé, a very rare and motorsport-focused version of the E-Type. Its technical basis comes from the E-Type lineup of the 1st generation (Series 1), built from 1961 onward. The predecessor to the E-Type was the Jaguar XK150, which was still more of a classic grand tourer. With the Low Drag Coupé, the goal was a more aerodynamic, lighter, and higher-speed-oriented version. The project was closely tied to Jaguar’s racing activities in the early 1960s. Two names are often mentioned as key figures: Malcolm Sayer and William Heynes.
