The car this model is based on is the BMW M5 CS, the especially performance-focused version of the M5 sedan from the F90 generation, which was built from 2017 to 2023. The BMW M5 CS was introduced in 2021 and sat above the M5 Competition in the lineup. Its predecessor in the F90 line was the BMW M5 of the F10 generation, which was offered from 2011 to 2016. The BMW M5 CS is powered by a 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine with the internal code S63B44T4. It produces 635 PS, or 467 kW, and delivers 750 Nm of torque. Power goes through an eight-speed M Steptronic and the variable M xDrive all-wheel-drive system; in driving mode, it can also be set up to run with a rear-biased setup. BMW quoted 0 to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds (0 to 62 mph in 3.0 seconds). With the M Driver’s Package, top speed is 305 km/h (189.5 mph). Compared with other F90 versions, the BMW M5 CS got things like specific engine mounts, revised damper tuning, a carbon-ceramic braking system, and lots of CFRP exterior parts.
The model shown belongs to the collection of Modelly member “neophyte1410.” It’s a 1/18-scale model car from GT Spirit. This diecast miniature recreates the four-door body of the BMW M5 CS with closed body panels. You can clearly see the aggressive front bumper with the large central air intake, the side openings in the bumper, and the black front splitter. The kidney grille has the bronze-like surround typical of the CS model; a small CS badge is also placed in the right kidney grille element. BMW logos on the hood and wheel centers are there too. The slim, dark-accented headlights and the hood shape with its raised lines reproduce the front end of the F90 sedan nicely. Limited to 2,400 units worldwide, this version is aimed at collectors of BMW M models, modern sport sedans, and limited-edition 1/18 miniatures.
The paint scheme clearly points to Frozen Deep Green Metallic, a special color offered for the BMW M5 CS. In the photos, the shade looks like a dark metallic green; depending on the light, you get olive and gray-green reflections. The black roof creates a sharp contrast and echoes the carbon roof used on the real car. Also finished in dark tones are the window surrounds, side mirror housings, front splitter, air intakes, and parts of the rear section. The bronze accents around the grille, side gills, and wheels match the color treatment of the production car. You can see delicate gold-toned multi-spoke wheels, inspired by the standard forged BMW M wheels in Style 789M. The mix of green bodywork, dark carbon-style elements, and bronze details breaks up the surfaces nicely: hood, roof, and side skirts stand out as separate design areas, while the small CS badges help identify the miniature.
As a 1/18-scale model car from GT Spirit, the miniature shows the BMW M5 CS mix of sedan proportions and M-specific parts. The photos make the long hood, short front overhang, cabin pushed far back, and short trunk lid easy to spot. The side doors are marked by fine panel gaps; flush-looking door handles, side mirrors, wheel arches, and the side trim/vent elements are separately highlighted. Because of the dark glazing, the interior is only partly visible, but you can still make out the shapes of the seats, steering wheel, and dashboard. At the front, the black slats of the twin kidney grille, the honeycomb pattern of the lower intake, and the depth effect of the headlights stand out. The pictured display on a light fabric background makes the hood lines, the fine metallic flake in the paint, and the wheel spoke structure especially clear. So the model nicely captures the special color and equipment spec of the BMW M5 CS as a closed collector piece.
