The Corvette ..... one of the most famous sports car in America.
From the beginning, the vehicle had a body made of glass fiber reinforced resin. This is still the case today. The model range was called C1.
The construction method saved weight and the production is relatively simple today. However, production was initially very complex. Many components, e.g. Engine, gearbox and suspension came from other Chevrolet models.
From 1958 the form of the Corvette was reworked and equipped with double headlights, extended and widened. The hardtop was standard.
Compared to competing products the Corvette was well equipped and offered also quite good driving.

Motor:
The engine of the first Corvette comes from a truck. It was a six-cylinder in-line engine with gasoline injection and a power of 150 hp.
From 1958 were then V8 engines with 230 - 290 HP "standard"

The model:
Very nicely implemented by AUTOart. A beautiful paint finish, fine details and a small gap are the characteristics of the model.
