The Lotus Elan ..... Colin Chapman's wonderful contribution to the small sports cars.
Elan was the first Lotus with a steel frame and a body made of glass fiber reinforced plastic.
Between 1962 and 1975, the model was built practically unchanged. From 1965 there was the Coupe presented here.
Engine:
Just 1600cc displacement from a 4-cylinder engine with 101 hp of power and a weight of just 680 kg ensured a unique driving feeling.
The model:
Wonderfully manufactured model of AUTOart. The paintwork is flawless, the gap mass (with the exception of the folding headlights) is pleasingly low, and the details, especially in the interior, have been superbly implemented.
A small but very fine model that is probably underestimated in most cases.
