These have a long tradition at Mazda . Especially in the US, the RX - 7 quickly became popular .
From 1978, this thoroughbred sports car was built and very successful .
Motor:
Two slices of rotary engine according to system Wankel .
2x600 cc = 1.2 liter engine with 105-115 hp. This was enough for a top speed of 190 km / h. From 0-100 passed 10 seconds. At that time a very respectable time .
The weight distribution of this only 1050 kg heavy car was very good 52 : 48 % ( front axle : rear axle )
