The 911 was a great advance over previous model 356. This applies to the entire vehicle construction and especially to the engine.

It is said that Ferdinand Alexander Porsche for the design of the car body had among other things the requirement to at least one set of golf clubs in the trunk to accommodate, since the typical Porsche customers had missed something like this at the 356er. The main criterion for the body was, however, a high recognition as Porsche and a similarity to the predecessor model. Likewise, the rear engine (behind the rear axle) was a fixed criterion.

Together with Erwin Komenda, who already had a significant influence on the development of the Porsche 356, Ferdinand Alexander Porsche designed the shape of the 911, which is still characteristic of the car today. The "original model", which was introduced in 1963, was initially equipped with different engine outputs (T, L, E and S) and equipment as a coupé and from model year until mid-1973. 1967 also built as an open version (Targa). A Cabriolet was only in the middle of 1982 in the "G-Modell".

Engine:
In the top model "S" (Super) presented in 1967, a 2.0-liter 6-cylinder box engine with 160 hp served its purpose.

The model:
Highly implemented model of AUTOart. The varnishing is flawless and the cracking mass is very low. The interior was very well implemented and the engine is perfectly implemented.
It could be criticized that the rear was a bit too flat and therefore easily too long, but the overall impression is still wonderful.
