Only 351 pieces of the original were produced from 1967 to 1970. One circumstance was also determined the lack of sales and distribution market in Europe.
The two flaps on the side of the fenders are used for maintenance of the battery, respectively. Cooling liquid.
Engine: 6-cylinder 2 liter, series. The 150PS ranged for about 210 km / h.

A convertible version in white played in the James Bond film "You Only Live Twice" a small role. However, this convertible was a one-off production (resp. 2 pieces for the film). In reality, there was no "topless version" of this sports car.

Special features:
In Japan drive on the left, which is why this model is designed as a right-hand drive. Why Japan drives left, is not fully understood. It never belonged to the British Commonwealth. One explanation could be that British railway engineers helped build the technical mobility and so influenced the left-hand traffic.
