1961 was presented one of the most exciting sports cars in the world .... the Jaguar E-Type.
From the beginning, this vehicle was a success. Especially in the USA, many E-Type were sold.
Motor of Series 1 (1961)
3.8 liters 6 cylinders with 269 hp power, top speed 240 km / h!
The first series was criticized by many as uncomfortable. The cockpit was tight and the seat position was not too comfortable, but the car is a beauty.
With later versions the appearance of the E-Type changed.
The model:
Exceptionally well-implemented model of AUTOart in the Signature series.
The varnishing is perfect, the cleavage mass very low and numerous details are made perfectly. The seats were lined with leather and the spokes of the wheels were fed in individually.
The model shows a visible shortcoming. You can see brake discs on the rear wheels. The model, however, had so-called "internal brakes" in the vehicle center.
The model is limited.
The famous auto journalist Fritz B. Busch published a very entertaining and informative report about the title "Whiskey pure"
