The top of the 02 - series was built from September 1973 to November 1974 BMW 2002 Turbo . It was the first German production car with a turbocharger ( before Porsche ... ) .
The 2.0-liter 4 -cylinder turbocharged engine delivered 170 hp . The vehicle was only available in white and silver gray . On request, there was the word " 2002 Turbo " in mirror writing on the front spoiler .
The model:
The vehicle is beautifully realized , Kyosho has done an excellent job . Great finish, fine details in the interior and a very good reproduction of the engine .
In the trunk below the floor cover a removable spare wheel , the suspension of the model works and the overall impression is excellent .
