The Ferrari 365 GTB / 4.
A vehicle whose "nickname" often known as the actual type designation.
Many know the Ferrari "Daytona", but few know that the vehicle officially Type 365 was called.
The name "Daytona" owe these fast cars his resounding victory at the 24 hour race at Daytona 1967th

The car was built 1969-1973 and was an unexpected success. The magazine "Auto Motor and Sport" described the "Daytona" as THE symbol of a man's car.

Motor:
The 4.4. Liter big 12-cylinder engine delivered up to 450 hp.
It should stay for a long time the last front-engined Ferrari.

The first 365er wore a plexiglass strip at the front, behind which hid the headlamps. New laws in the United States prohibited this, however, and so the "Daytona" were rebuilt and instead used folding headlights.
The legend says that actually only the export Ferraris should bear folding headlights, but Enzo Ferrari had spontaneously decided at the sight of this new front that now all "Daytona" will be built with it. (A man, a word, a law ......;))

Even less known is probably that of Daytona was the first winner of the legendary "Cannonball race" in the US. In 1971, the winner of the distance of 4625 kilometers in just under 36 hours

The model:
Excellent converted model of Kyosho. Minimal gap mass, wonderful details and a very good modeled interiors are distinguished from the vehicle.
