The mini .... an icon of automotive engineering and the ancestor of small cars.
Whole books have been written about this legendary vehicle so here are just a few key facts:
Developed by Alec Issigonis, who drew his first sketches on a napkin. with a length of just over 3m 4 people could still sit in the car.
Construction period from 1959 to 2000 in the original version (then taken over by BMW and continuation of the name).
The name "Mini" is usually associated automatically with "Cooper", although not all Minis are "Cooper" by far. John Cooper was virtually the house tuner of Mini.

Technology:
Mini Cooper "S": 4 cylinder with 1.0 liter capacity, power 70 hp, maximum speed 148 km / h, weight 670 kg

The mini in the movie:
The mini came (and still is) in many films. Legendary in "" Charlie's Dusting the Millions (The Italian Job) of 1969 "and his successor" The Italian Job - Hunting for Millions "from 2003, in" Bourne Identity "from 2002," A Shot in the Dark "from 1964 with Peter Sellers and of course as the car of "Mister Bean"

The model:
Beautifully implemented model of Kyosho. However, you can see the model, the "age" resp. the year of production. It is an early product of the company. The gap masses are quite large and the hinges on the doors very rough. The interior is prototypically quite Spartan but has carpeting. The trunk can not be opened unfortunately. The engine is really well implemented and quite on today's level.
Despite its simplicity, the model is a beautiful eye-catcher and well implemented.
