The Land Rover ..... one of the most famous off-road vehicles in the world.
The series I was built from 1948 - 1958. At that time, however, the model series was not yet "Serie 1". This happened only after 1958, when the series 2 was built ....
The 4-cylinder engine with 1600 ccm provided 51 hp, this was enough for approx. 90 km / h.
Since the Land Rover was originally designed for agriculture ( "A Rover for the Land") several access points were provided for the drive shaft, so that external equipment could be connected.
The model:
Very beautifully implemented in good Minichamps quality. The soft top can be removed as well as the side windows and the spare wheel. The bonnet can be lifted. Here one could have found a more beautiful solution with hinges.
The tailgate can not be opened, but it does not bother. The few, also in the original available details are beautifully worked and the sand-colored paint was applied fine.
