The "Renault Alpine", or, depending on the year of the car's "Alpine Renault" was a separate brand before the sale to the car manufacturer Renault.
1968 was started with the development of the successor of the successful Alpine A110.
The model series A310 from 1971 - 1985 was built in different (engine) versions, the body did not differ significantly. From the beginning the vehicle was designed as 2 + 2 seater, the rear 2 seats are however very narrow and equal deep seat.
The A310 was designed as a French version of the Porsche.
Engine:
At the beginning was a 4-cylinder engine with 1.6-liter displacement from the Renault 16TS built, this made 115 hp.
From 1973, the "SI" version produced 124 hp with the same engine.
From 1976 a V6 engine was installed. This now made 150 hp from 2.6 liters displacement.
The model presented here is a version from 1980 onwards. From this point onwards, the distinctive rims of Renault were used in "engine design".
The model:
Simple, but beautifully implemented model of Norev. The French manufacturer always builds very nice models according to the French model. The interior with engine is probably a bit more loving and detailed, but is basically well implemented. The varnishing is fault-free and the gap mass is pleasingly low, the overall impression is good.
The model shown here is a French police car, which is also available in the original. The role models lead mainly on the motorways and were due to the space conditions only for basic first aid resp. Surveillance and patrol.
In many French comic books you can see the Alpine, mostly as a "persecution vehicle" with a "vrooouuuum" in the speech bubble ........ :))
