This version of the Opel captain was introduced in 1959. Unlike his predecessor, some things have been changed. The most important thing was that now the passengers in the rear were able to get back easily (the roof course had previously been critically criticized).
The motorization remained unchanged. 6 cylinders in a 2.6 liter engine made 90 hp. This was sufficient for a top speed of 150 km / h. (1959 were the top values .....)
The model:
Very good quality from Revell. Even small details are beautifully implemented. Unfortunately the rear doors and also the trunk can not open. This was quite common with Revell. Unfortunately, the company has now withdrawn from the 1: 18 range.

Currently, a "GM-Suisse" badge has been affixed to the front. General Motors had a part of its vehicles produced in the city of Biel, (western Switzerland).
