Ich sammle seit meiner Kindheit Automodelle, überwiegend 1:87. Ich bin erst spät mit 1:18 gestartet.
Seit frühester Kindheit habe ich schon Modellautos umgebaut, angefangen hat es mit dem Umlackieren (pinseln) von Matchbox- und Siku-Autos. Später habe ich dann Überwiegend Herpa-Autos umgebaut, was bedeutet: Umlackieren mit Sprühdose oder Airbrush-Pistole, Karosserie-Umbauten (Cabrio, Verbreiterungen, tiefer legen, Hauben und Türen zum Öffnen, etc) auf hohem Niveau.
Nun habe ich nach ca. 20Jahren Pause wieder angefangen mit dem Basteln, bzw. Umbauen von Modellautos, allerdings in 1:18. man wird halt älter, die Augen machen nicht mehr so mit... :-)
