BMW M4 GT3 EVO as the template: tech, generation, and racing use
The miniature shown in the Modelly collection by member “vettelf1champ96” is based on the BMW M4 GT3 EVO, the updated GT3 racing version of the M4. Its road-car base comes from the M4 lineup of the G82 generation, which has been built since 2020. The predecessor in BMW customer racing was the BMW M6 GT3, which the M4 GT3 replaced. The GT3 race car was developed to meet GT3 regulations and uses a 3.0-liter inline-six with BMW M TwinPower Turbo. In the race car, the engine is called the P58; depending on Balance of Performance classification, output is around 500 to over 590 hp. It also comes with a sequential Xtrac gearbox with paddle shifters, rear-wheel drive, extensive aerodynamics with a front splitter, diffuser, and large rear wing, plus cooling and brakes designed for endurance racing. The car was developed at BMW M Motorsport, with Mike Krack responsible in the early project phase, and later with close involvement from the motorsport division; for the series M4 design, Domagoj Dukec is the key design figure of that era.
Le Mans 2025 and WRT livery: the model’s real-life inspiration

The concept, with its turbocharged inline-six, broad operating window, and customer-racing-friendly serviceability, made the car attractive to different teams. Compared with the M6 GT3, the M4 GT3 offered a more modern platform and a car layout that was better matched to current GT3 requirements.

Team WRT has been one of the better-known GT and endurance teams for years and has raced BMW cars in several championships.
