This car is the winner of 2004 Dakar rally.
The Pajero Evolution MRP10 is based on the Pajero Evolution concept car first revealed on 2001. It was designed to compete in CCR and Dakar rallyes. First win of the car was on 2003 Dakar. The body has some minor evolutions through years, mainly on venting on the roof and on the upper rear sides.
This version is from 2004: rear wing is now mounted directly on the boot door (it was previously mounted on 2 posts), there are 2 NACA air intakes on the roof to feed the radiator, and there are 2 air intakes followed by grills on the rear sides, just after the door windows.
This model is true 1:64 and the body shape and details are really accurate, and don't reflect the average quality level of Majorette of this period, which was lower than this. If I'm correct, this model was produced by another manufacturer (which one ?) when Majorette factory in Thailand burnt as that time. Majorette had to do some subcontracting to continue production and sales during the rebuilt of a new factory.
