Koenigsegg Gemera as the Inspiration: Mega GT with Hybrid Tech

The miniature shown here is based on the Koenigsegg Gemera, the four-seat high-performance car from the Swedish manufacturer Koenigsegg Automotive AB. The model belongs to the Gemera generation, built since 2020. There’s no direct predecessor in Koenigsegg’s own lineup, because the Koenigsegg Gemera carved out a brand-new role for the company: four seats, big Dihedral Synchro-Helix doors, and a concept meant to blend performance, range, and everyday usability. The car was unveiled in 2020. The key people behind the brand and the tech are Christian von Koenigsegg as founder and technical driving force, and Sasha Selipanov as the designer. The original first came with a 2.0-liter three-cylinder twin-turbo engine with Freevalve tech, paired with several electric motors. The system was designed to deliver a total output of around 1,700 hp. Later on, a V8-based version was also announced. Some of the standout technical features of the Koenigsegg Gemera include the compact design of the combustion engine, the absence of a conventional camshaft thanks to the Freevalve system, all-wheel drive through electric and mechanical power distribution, and a layout aimed at combining serious performance with usable cabin space.

1/18 Scale Model Car by GT Spirit: A Collector Piece from Phat-T’s Collection

This model car is in 1/18 scale and was manufactured by GT Spirit, and it was photographed from model collector member “Phat-T”’s collection. For collectors, it’s also worth noting that this is a resin model: the miniature is made from resin, which is often used for closed-body cars like this one. At the same time, this is a model car in 1/18 scale manufactured by GT Spirit, and it captures the design lines of the Koenigsegg Gemera in miniature form. Important for the collector market is the production number: limited to 1500 pieces worldwide / one out of 1500 pieces worldwide. In the photos, you can see a smooth gray paint finish, combined with black add-on parts around the front splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser area. There are also yellow-to-orange accents on the brake calipers, hub caps, and the side “Gemera” script. These contrast points match a well-known brand style and help define the visual separation between the body, glazing, and aero surfaces.

Body, Wheels, and Details of the Miniature in the Photos

The photos show the miniature from the side, at a three-quarter angle from above, and from a front three-quarter view. You can clearly see the long roofline, the short front end, the strongly sculpted sides, and the large side air intake ahead of the rear wheel. The black area around the windows and roof gives the model the signature Koenigsegg Gemera glass-canopy look. The front end of the model has slim headlight units, large air intakes, and a deep front splitter. On the side, the cleanly modeled door contour stands out; even without opening parts, the shape of the big door setup is easy to read. The wheels are finished in black and use a multi-spoke design with a center-lock look. You can also spot Michelin lettering on the tire sidewalls in the photos. The drilled brake discs and colored brake calipers are visible too. However, based on the photos alone, the wheel manufacturer or a specific wheel model can’t be identified with certainty, so no definite match should be claimed here. In the rear side area, you can also see the small “RAW” marking, which points to a specific version of the model. Whether that refers to a certain presentation or trim version of the real car can’t be confirmed just from the images. The miniature’s scale is 1/18, but no metric measurements were provided, so there are no size conversions to add in brackets here.
