The Classic: The Original Mini 25th Anniversary
The Mini 25th Anniversary, also known as Mini 25, is a special anniversary edition of the classic Mini. This version was introduced in 1984 and belongs to the First Generation, which was produced from 1959 to 2000. The Mini was originally designed by Alec Issigonis and was meant to be a small, efficient sensation in response to the Suez Crisis and resulting fuel shortages. With its front-wheel-drive and transversely mounted engine, it offered maximum interior space on a minimal footprint.
