In the autumn of 1966, the exciting Maserati Ghibli was introduced. It was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. It was his first draft for the Carozzeria Ghia, after his departure at Bertone.
The Ghibli was already an expensive sports car that cost more than a Lamborghini Miura or a Ferrari 365 (Daytona). While the two "competitors" had 12 cylinder engines, the Maserati had a V8, but it exceeded the driving performance of the two.
From 1970 came a Spyder to the Coupe. The hood completely disappeared under a cover, the engine was improved.

Engine:
V8, 4.9 liters displacement, 335 hp, top speed 270 km / h.

The model:
Very nicely implemented by Minichamps. Nice details and very good varnishing with small gaps.
